This July (12-14), the Icarus Cup is returning to Philadelphia for the fourth time, and this year more than ever, we’re bringing the world to the City of Brotherly Love. With a fresh lineup of kits for all 80 teams - each and every one inspired by destinations around the world - it’s not just our ‘festival of soccer’: it’s our ‘World Fair of Soccer’.
The Icarus Cup was founded in conjunction with CASA in 2021, as a tournament built in the image of the best grassroots football communities Icarus has worked with. Which, in short, means the actual playing is just one attraction, along with music, parties, and of course, beautiful football kits.
With multiple Open, Mixto and Women’s/Non-Binary divisions, along with a new Over 30s Open division, the 2024 Icarus Cup is our most inclusive tournament yet, giving everyone a chance to enjoy a weekend of sun (hopefully), fun (definitely) and top quality soccer (TBC).
It’s not long until we reveal all 80 designs for this year’s tournament, which registered teams have already been fighting over for a few weeks. As part of the Icarus Cup design gauntlet, every team member put forward their dream vacation destinations (other than Philly, obviously) that they wanted to see as a football shirt, so there’ll be plenty of cultural easter eggs to spot when they drop.
For now, it's your last chance to pick up one of last year's designs...
