After making its debut in Beantown last year, Icarus Cup is returning to Boston from August 7-8!

Just as we did with Icarus Cup Austin over the years, we love taking the Cup on the road and giving early adopting clubs a key role in shaping what the event looks like. With a successful first event under our belt, we're ready for the second edition to be bigger, better and more Bostonian.

As ever, we'll be keeping all the best aspects of the Icarus Cup (the soccer, the parties) but with a Boston twist. What that means we have no idea: we hope the locals can show us how it's done.

We'll have Open, Mixto (Coed), Open Over-30, and Women+ divisions for you to join, with every team guaranteed 4 games and everyone making a playoff of some sort. The event will kick off with an Opening Ceremony/Jersey Presentation on August 7, with the 7v7 tournament taking place on the turf at Pine Banks Park on the 8th. 

As always, we'll finish off the Cup with an afterparty where you can hang out with other teams, drink out of the trophy, have a tactical postmortem, etc. It'll be a wicked time.
