About Thimphu City FC
Thimphu City FC competes in the Bhutan Premier League, the highest league in Bhutanese football. They won the league title in both 2016 and 2020, and have never finished below 3rd place. Their stadium - Changlimithang Stadium - is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful places to watch football in the world.
Their 2023 home shirt uses a pattern based on traditional martha textile patterns. These plaid weaves normally have red or maroon as the dominant color, making them the perfect inspiration for the Thimphu City home shirt. If you look closely, you can even see that our bespoke martha pattern spells out 'TCFC.'
