icarus cup austin 2025

We've hosted enough Icarus summer tournaments to know that we should always kick tournament season off in Austin. And we've hosted enough Austin Icarus Cups to know that you always kick off the tournament with a pub crawl. That's exactly what we did at Icarus Cup Austin III. It was our biggest edition yet, growing from 40 teams last year to 67 teams, thanks in part to our new over-37 and over-47 divisions. 

Thankfully for the design team at Icarus, more teams means more unique designs, and we once again delivered with a whole new slate of Texas-inspired designs, from cowboy boots to denim shirts and every pattern in between.

It may be called Icarus Cup Austin, but this year the tournament also hosted our widest spread of home states, with teams coming from as far as California, Utah, New York, Philly, Florida and Michigan.

That said, what makes the tournament such a fun time is the incredible turnout we get from the Austin community, from our clubs in the city to fans, family, and heroes who posted up with a grill and kept hot dogs going throughout the day. Special thanks to the great people at Shiner Beer for their support of the tournament (including but not limited to throwing complimentary beers to thirsty substitutes).

With (potentially) our best tournament weekend under our belt, trust us when we say: we have big plans for Icarus Cup Austin.
