Mongol Empire

About The Mongol Empire National Team

The Mongol Empire was the largest contiguous land empire in history. This design is based on Mongolian calligraphy and captures imagery of chaos, horses, and wind.

The lettering in the crest spells out Ikh Mongol Uls in Mongolian script, which is the name that the Mongols used for their empire. The crescent symbol with the flame above it is what the Mongols used on their army's flags. A small portrait of Ghengis Khan is on the lower right of the front.

The back of the jersey contains the Wind Horse below the neck, which is the national symbol of strength, victory and power. Each jersey has #6 on the back, in reference to 1206, the year that the empire was founded.
